Our Director of Development meticulously oversees every phase of our projects, from initial concept through to completion. With a robust background in project planning, design, construction, and budget management, he ensures that each development adheres to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. His track record includes the successful development of over 1,000 housing units in New York City, underscoring his capacity to deliver transformative affordable housing initiatives.
Director of Architecture
Our Architecture Director infuses each project with creativity and innovation, drawing on her extensive international experience in cities such as Chicago, Amsterdam, and various locales in Germany. Holding leadership positions in prominent architectural foundations, she champions Stride’s mission of designing community-centric, cutting-edge spaces. Her commitment to crafting functional, enriching environments is a hallmark of her work.
Acquisitions Manager
With previous experience at Morgan Stanley and in Congress, Safia brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Acquisitions Manager. She excels at identifying and securing high-potential development opportunities, working closely with the development team to assess feasibility and negotiate contracts. Her in-depth knowledge of the affordable housing market and regulatory landscape empowers Stride Development to strategically navigate and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Chief Project Strategist
Our Chief Project Strategist brings critical strategic insight and analytical prowess to our projects. Her extensive experience managing contracts for Section 8 housing and navigating HOME program funding in New York City has honed her skills in assessing community needs and aligning stakeholder interests. Her expertise ensures that our projects deliver maximum benefits to all involved parties.
